2016 Pinot Blanc

Pinot Blanc is a white grape popular across the globe, especially in Alsace, Austria and Germany. Refreshing and vibrant, this Pinot Blanc is full-bodied with aromas of pear and honeysuckle mingled with scents of waxy bee pollen, citrus blossom, and fresh cut apple. Notes of black tea and vanilla extract show as the wine opens. Even at room temperature the finish remains clean and crisp. Pair this vintage with white sauces, pine nuts and dishes using goat cheese or parmesan cheese.

2016 Sangiovese

Sangiovese is the main grape grown in the Chianti region of Italy. True to varietal character, this vintage opens with classic ripe cherry, pomegranate, and red current with subtle hints of clove and all-spice. Beautifully balanced acidity with a clean, pure finish. This is a food friendly wine pairing well with fresh pasta, wild mushrooms and cured meats. Pizza is a no brainer. This is a favorite summertime-red!

2016 Zinfandel

With Croatian roots and a long history in Apulia Italy, Zin is a classic all-American success story crafted in California. The black-skin grapes of this vintage produced a ruby red highly aromatic wine that opens with blackberry, black currant, and black pepper then finishes with mocha and spice. This is a big full-bodied Zin that is well balanced with a lush finish and age-worthy. Smoked Gouda and Trentingrana cheeses pair well, as do pork loin, roasted turkey, and seasoned grilled vegetables. This is the winemakers go to wine with grilled hand-rubbed tri-tip.

Red Blend

If you are a Super Tuscan fan you will love this primarily Sangiovese and Syrah based blend. The medium bodied wine expresses red and black currant, dried cherries and a hint of chocolate with fragrant herb notes of licorice, vanilla, and clove. This is an easy drinker with a smooth balanced mouth that pairs beautifully with bitter vegetables like kale salad, olives, mozzarella, white cheddar, dry salami, mushroom lasagna, marinara and of course bruschetta.

Syrah

Syrah is a noble grape from the Côte-Rôtie and Hermitage regions of Northern Rhone, France, where Syrah is the flagship red wine. This vintage is exceptional opening with a gentle rich leather on the mid-palate giving way to a floral bouquet of lilac and rose garden layered with dark plum and olive tapenade. Structured, elegant, rich and lasting. This vintage fulfills all your expectations of an excellent Syrah. Enjoy with Wagyu carpaccio, seared Ahi, acai chutney, pickled mustard seeds or your favorite Mediterranean dish.

Petite Sirah

A dark, inky, ancient varietal, Petite Sirah is known for strength and boldness. This vintage captures the magenta color and black fruit essence of boysenberry, blackberry and blueberry layered with minerals, earth, and black peppercorn. Bold, respectful and built to age. You can be confident opening this wine for any level of wine enthusiast. Quoting Chelsey Hand “oooohhh, aaahhh, I love this one!” Appreciate this with braised short-ribs or your favorite beef or wild game steak on the grill.
